The Executive Chairman of Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, today conducted an inspection visit to assess the progress of the comprehensive road reconstruction currently underway within the council premises.
The infrastructural upgrade, a flagship project under the Akinloye administration, aims to improve accessibility, enhance internal mobility, and reinforce the council’s commitment to sustainable development.
According to on-site reports, the project has reached an advanced stage. The regulatory groundwork has been completed, and the base course—comprising high-grade crushed stone—has been fully applied, marking a significant milestone in the construction timeline.
During the inspection, Hon. Akinloye expressed satisfaction with the quality and pace of the work. He praised the engineering team for their professionalism and urged them to sustain their diligence to ensure the timely delivery of a high-standard project.
“This is not just about building roads. It’s about laying the foundation for a modern Eredo LCDA,” the Chairman stated. “Development is not a promise—it is a plan in action.”
Hon. Akinloye reaffirmed that the road reconstruction forms part of a broader infrastructural agenda designed to position Eredo LCDA as a benchmark for local governance and public service delivery in Lagos State.
The project is expected to be completed within the stipulated timeframe, setting the tone for further developmental strides across the council area.
