Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, the All Progressives Congress (APC) flagbearer for the 2025 Local Government/Local Council Development Area (LG/LCDA) elections in Ikosi-Ejinrin, has extended his heartfelt appreciation following his official nomination.
In a statement released shortly after the declaration, Anomo expressed deep gratitude to Almighty Allah for His guidance and grace, acknowledging that his emergence as flagbearer is not a personal victory but a collective one shared with party members and the people of Ikosi-Ejinrin.
“I am humbled and sincerely grateful to have been entrusted with this responsibility by our great party,” he said. “This endorsement reflects the unity, trust, and shared vision of progress within our community.”
He particularly thanked the APC leadership across the Epe Division, delegates, and party stakeholders whose support reaffirmed confidence in his leadership. Anomo also recognized the extraordinary gesture by the six traditional rulers of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, who jointly purchased and presented his nomination form—a move he described as a historic and humbling moment in his political career.
Acknowledging the early backing from women groups, youth organizations, artisans, market leaders, religious bodies, and community development associations, Anomo emphasized that their encouragement strengthened his resolve to serve with renewed vigor.
With the main election scheduled for July 12, 2025, Anomo called on all APC members and residents of Ikosi-Ejinrin to remain united, mobilize effectively, and vote in large numbers. He reaffirmed his commitment to the peace, progress, and prosperity of the LCDA.
“As we enter the next phase, I rededicate myself to selfless service with renewed energy and unwavering focus,” he concluded. “With your continued support, we will build on our achievements and reach greater heights together.”
