A strong supporter of Chairman Akogun Wale Anomo has called for his re-election, citing his impressive track record and transformative leadership in Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA).
Gbenga Onabamiro, a community advocate, made the appeal on Monday, highlighting Anomo’s achievements during his first term in office. According to him, the chairman’s administration has delivered tangible improvements across several communities including Temu, Sala, Molajoye, Igbodu, Ketu, Ejirin, Orugbo, Itoikin, and Iganke Agbowa.
“Since assuming office, Chairman Anomo has changed the face of Ikosi-Ejinrin with real projects, effective governance, and visible impact,” Onabamiro said. “He hit the ground running and has shown clear vision and commitment to service.”
He noted that Anomo’s leadership style is defined by transparency, accountability, and responsiveness—qualities that have restored public confidence in local governance.
“His ability to mobilize resources and execute development-driven policies has made a real difference in the lives of our people. He’s not just making promises—he’s delivering results,” he added.
Onabamiro emphasized that a second term would give Anomo the opportunity to consolidate his achievements, complete ongoing projects, and address emerging challenges with the same level of dedication.
“Continuity is crucial. We need to build on the momentum he has created. A second term will enable him to deepen the progress we’ve already seen,” he said.
He concluded by urging residents of Ikosi-Ejinrin to rally behind Anomo’s re-election bid, stressing that sustained leadership is key to long-term community development.
“Akogun Wale Anomo is the right man for the job. Let’s give him the mandate to continue the good work,” Onabamiro stated.
