The All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship candidate for Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, convened a strategic meeting earlier today with fellow chairmanship and councilorship aspirants who participated in the recently concluded APC primary election held on May 10, 2025.
The gathering, which emphasized reconciliation and forward planning, aimed to strengthen party unity ahead of the upcoming local government elections scheduled for July 12.
In his address, Hon. Akinloye urged all aspirants to put the primary election behind them and focus on the collective mission of party victory. “The primary election has come and gone, but the party remains supreme,” he stated. He reiterated his commitment to inclusive leadership and encouraged aspirants to contribute ideas and initiatives that would drive development in Eredo LCDA.
The meeting also featured remarks from the APC Local Government Chairman, Alhaji Mahmoud Agbaraojo, who called for calm and cohesion among party faithful. He urged aspirants to pacify their supporters and rally behind the party’s candidates across all levels. “The ultimate goal is to deliver victory for the APC and secure overwhelming support at the polls,” he emphasized.
