In a heartfelt Children’s Day message, the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, has reiterated his administration’s dedication to building a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment for children across the community.
Describing children as “the greatest treasures” and “the embodiment of hope,” Anomo emphasized that the future of Ikosi-Ejinrin rests in the dreams and potential of its youngest citizens.
“As a father, leader, and servant of the people, I see our children as the most important investment of our time,” he said. “Their joy inspires us, their safety is our responsibility, and their future remains our most sacred duty.”
Anomo pledged to continue championing initiatives that prioritize child education, protection, and talent development, underscoring his vision of an Ikosi-Ejinrin “where no dream is too big, and no talent is left unexplored.”
Addressing children directly, he encouraged them to dream boldly and pursue greatness: “Keep dreaming, keep daring, keep shining — the world is waiting for your greatness.”
The message aligns with broader efforts in Lagos State to enhance child welfare through improved access to education, healthcare, and community-based opportunities, especially in rural and peri-urban areas like Agbowa in Epe Division.
