Concerned Nations Initiative Delegates Pay Courtesy Visit to Ibeju-Lekki Chairman, Pledge Support for Community Development

The Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, has received a delegation from the Concerned Nations Initiative (CNI), a grassroots-focused advocacy group, during a courtesy visit aimed at fostering collaboration in community development.

The delegation was led by CNI’s Founder and Director-General, Mr. Idris Tele Olukoya, who commended the Council Chairman for his performance in delivering quality governance across the local government area. Mr. Olukoya expressed the organization’s intention to partner with the local administration on impactful initiatives that promote good governance and sustainable development.

In his remarks, Hon. Olowa expressed appreciation for CNI’s visit and their interest in community advancement. He particularly lauded Mr. Olukoya’s longstanding commitment to grassroots engagement and welcomed the prospect of collaboration.

“I sincerely appreciate your team for identifying with our administration,” Hon. Olowa said. “As we prepare for the next phase, I assure the people of Ibeju-Lekki that a second term will bring even greater dividends of democracy, especially in the areas of infrastructure and social services.”

As a symbol of goodwill, the delegation presented a portrait to the Executive Chairman. Among the visiting members were Mr. Lawal Afeez (General Secretary), Mrs. Yemisi Tanwa Folajinmi (Publicity Secretary), Mr. Teslim Sultan, and Ms. Sangosanya Maimunat.

The meeting concluded with mutual affirmations of commitment to community transformation and continued dialogue for future collaboration.
