Epe LG Chairman Celebrates Two Years of Sanwo-Olu, Hamzat’s Second Term, Commends Inclusive Governance and Statewide Impact

The Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, Princess Surah Animashaun, has extended warm congratulations to Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, and Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, on the second anniversary of their second term in office, lauding the administration’s performance and development-driven agenda.

In a formal message marking the occasion, Princess Animashaun described the past two years as a “defining chapter in the Lagos story,” characterized by visionary leadership, strategic governance, and a strong commitment to inclusive development across all sectors.

She praised the implementation of the T.H.E.M.E.S+ Agenda — the administration’s development blueprint — noting its tangible impact in key areas such as transportation, education, healthcare, housing, digital innovation, and climate resilience. According to her, these initiatives have addressed the complex needs of Lagos’ growing population with clarity, boldness, and compassion.

“Your calm, focused, and action-driven leadership has redefined public trust in governance,” she stated, addressing Governor Sanwo-Olu. “Your ability to transform vision into visible progress is shaping a Lagos that is inclusive, intelligent, and globally competitive.”

Princess Animashaun also commended Deputy Governor Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat for his intellectual leadership, loyalty, and strategic input in driving key policies. She highlighted the strong partnership between the Governor and Deputy Governor as a model of cohesive and effective leadership.

The Epe LG Chairman expressed deep appreciation for the administration’s visible investments in infrastructure, human capital, and grassroots empowerment in the Epe division. She emphasized that the people of Epe remain beneficiaries of the state’s developmental strides and inclusive governance.
