The Executive Chairman of Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, has called for unity and collective action among stakeholders and aspirants within the All Progressives Congress (APC) as he formally seeks re-election.
In a message, Hon. Akinloye emphasized that the task of building a greater Eredo is a shared responsibility, not one to be borne by a single individual. He reiterated that leadership should be driven by vision and service, not personal ambition.
Reflecting on the just-concluded APC primary election, Akinloye praised the democratic process and commended fellow aspirants for their spirited participation. “We are not opponents; we are one big progressive family,” he stated, extending a hand of fellowship to all aspirants to join in a united front ahead of the forthcoming local government elections.
He announced plans for a roundtable discussion with party stakeholders and fellow aspirants, aimed at fostering collaboration and strategic planning to secure an APC victory at the polls and support the re-election bid of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Akinloye also acknowledged the unwavering support of APC leaders across Eredo LCDA, thanking them for their guidance and dedication to good governance. To the electorate, he pledged continued delivery of democratic dividends, including improvements in education, healthcare, infrastructure, and inclusive governance.
“As we move closer to election day, I urge everyone to rise above personal interests and stay committed to our shared vision,” he said, calling for prayers, support, and unity as the campaign progresses.
