The Executive Chairman of Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Ismail Akinloye, has extended warm Children’s Day greetings to the children of Eredo and beyond, encouraging them to value education and uphold discipline as they grow into the future leaders of the community and the nation.
In a goodwill message titled “Happy Children’s Day to Our Precious Gems”, Hon. Akinloye described children as the pride and hope of society. He emphasized that education remains the most powerful tool for personal growth and societal transformation, urging young people to commit fully to their studies.
“Education is the key to unlocking your dreams and achieving great success,” he said. “Always strive to do your best in your studies, for your education will open doors to a brighter future.”
The Chairman also called on children to listen to and respect their parents, guardians, and teachers, noting that the guidance of elders plays a critical role in shaping their character and aspirations.
“Obeying and respecting them will lead you on the right path,” he added. “They are here to help you grow into responsible and successful individuals.”
Hon. Akinloye reminded children of their potential to shape the future of Eredo LCDA and Nigeria at large, encouraging them to remain curious, dream boldly, and pursue knowledge relentlessly.
“Keep dreaming big, stay curious, and never stop learning,” he said. “You are the leaders of tomorrow, and we believe in your potential to make Eredo LCDA proud.”
Children’s Day is marked annually in Nigeria on May 27, celebrating the rights, welfare, and potential of children across the country. This year’s celebration reaffirms the commitment of local leaders like Hon. Akinloye to building a supportive environment for youth development.
