Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has sent his heartfelt best wishes to the 2025 pilgrims departing for the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah, describing the Hajj as a sacred act of devotion that requires discipline, unity, and deep faith.

Speaking at a farewell ceremony organized by the Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Governor Adeleke called on the pilgrims to embody the values of patience, empathy, and brotherhood throughout the spiritual journey.

“You are not just representing yourselves; you are carrying the hopes and prayers of the entire Osun State,” he said. “Let your conduct reflect the dignity and values we hold dear.”

The governor thanked Almighty Allah for granting the pilgrims the opportunity to undertake the Hajj and applauded state officials for their work in ensuring a smooth and well-coordinated process.

Reaffirming his administration’s support for the Muslim community, Adeleke announced that the state’s Hajj Camp is near completion and revealed plans for a mosque within the Government House.

He concluded with prayers for the pilgrims’ safety and spiritual fulfillment, expressing confidence that they would return enriched by their experience and inspired to uplift their communities.
