As Nigeria marks Children’s Day, Hon. Wale Raji, Member of the House of Representatives for Epe Federal Constituency, has reaffirmed his commitment to educational development and child empowerment across Epe, Eredo, and Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDAs.
In a heartfelt address to mark the occasion, Hon. Raji described children as “the light of today,” emphasizing that they deserve the tools and opportunities necessary to thrive. He celebrated the progress made under his tenure, particularly the construction of nearly 160 classrooms across the constituency.
“These are not just structures,” he stated, “but beacons of hope designed to foster cognitive, affective, and psychomotor development in our children. We are unlocking potential and shaping destinies.”
Beyond infrastructure, Hon. Raji spotlighted efforts to bridge educational gaps in underserved areas. He cited the establishment of new schools in communities such as Oko-Abe, Temu, Owu-Ikosi, and Ilege, made possible through strategic legislative advocacy.
“True transformation reaches even the overlooked,” he said. “These initiatives are not just policy—they are promises fulfilled with purpose and integrity.”
Calling for continued collective commitment to children’s welfare, the lawmaker urged constituents to see every child’s future as a shared mission.
“Happy Children’s Day to every shining star in Epe and beyond,” he concluded. “May your dreams know no boundaries.”
Hon. Wale Raji currently serves as Chairman of the House Committee on Livestock Development.
