In a strong show of unity, gratitude, and progressive leadership, the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, led a delegation of All Progressives Congress (APC) councillorship candidates on a series of appreciation visits to notable party leaders within the Epe Division.
According to a statement issued by Areh AbdulHamid Olabowale, Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman, the Vice Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, Alhaji Wasiu Oluwole Dehinsilu, also joined the delegation as they met with three prominent APC figures: Alhaji Shakiru Akanni Seriki (BAMU), Hon. Sylvester Ogunkelu (SKETEL), and Hon. Tokunbo Wahab (TKW).
The tour began at the residence of Alhaji Seriki, the esteemed Apaase of Epe Land and member of the Lagos Governance Advisory Council (GAC). The team expressed deep gratitude for his steadfast support and visionary leadership. Former Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA Chairman, Hon. Adesegun Adetola, also attended the meeting and offered counsel to the candidates.
Next, the delegation visited the Lagos State House of Assembly, where they were received by Hon. Sylvester Ogunkelu, the lawmaker representing Epe Constituency II. He commended the candidates for their humility and encouraged them to remain focused on delivering the dividends of democracy.
The final visit took place at the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, where Hon. Tokunbo Wahab warmly welcomed the delegation. A proud son of Ikosi-Ejinrin, Wahab praised their unity and commitment to public service. He urged them to uphold party ideals and serve with integrity and compassion.
Throughout the visits, the councillorship candidates reaffirmed their dedication to good governance, grassroots development, and unwavering loyalty to the APC.
