As Nigeria marks the second anniversary of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Lagos State, has publicly praised the President for what she describes as “bold leadership, national vision, and unwavering support for inclusive governance.”
In a goodwill message, princess Bada, who is popularly known for her grassroots engagement and political advocacy, expressed deep appreciation for President Tinubu’s influence on her personal and political journey, as well as on the country’s broader development.
“Two years into your presidency, the difference is undeniable,” she said. “Through tough choices and bold actions, you have shown the kind of courage and vision that this country desperately needs.”
The Mayoress credited President Tinubu’s administration with reinvigorating public institutions, reviving investor confidence, and providing a foundation for economic stability and growth. She highlighted the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda as a framework that is already yielding visible impact across the country.
As a female political leader, princess Bada emphasized the President’s long-standing commitment to gender inclusion and youth empowerment, noting that his legacy has been instrumental in opening doors for women in leadership at the local, state, and national levels.
“You didn’t just open doors — you built new paths where none existed,” she said, referencing Tinubu’s legacy of mentorship and empowerment for emerging political figures.
Beyond political achievements, the Mayoress also expressed personal admiration, referring to Tinubu as a father figure, mentor, and symbol of modern progressive politics. “Thank you, Daddy, for leading with strength, heart, and a deep love for this nation,” she added.
Princess Bada, who holds several traditional and civic titles including Queen Mother and Yeyeoge of Ijanikin Land, concluded her message with optimism for the future, stating, “The progress we’ve seen is just the beginning — the best is yet to come.”
President Bola Tinubu assumed office on May 29, 2023. His administration’s flagship policy direction, the Renewed Hope Agenda, is anchored on economic reforms, institutional strengthening, national unity, and inclusive governance.
