In a show of commitment to public safety, the Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (RBK), has intensified efforts to boost security across the council area through several strategic interventions.
Hon. Kasali, widely known for his proactive governance style, recently refurbished operational vehicles for the Nigeria Police Force in the area and continues to provide regular fuel support to ensure effective patrol and emergency response.
In addition to supporting conventional security agencies, the council boss established a local security outfit tailored to enhance grassroots surveillance and intelligence gathering. The initiative is aimed at complementing police operations and curbing criminal activity in hard-to-reach communities.
Speaking on the impact of these efforts, residents and stakeholders have commended the chairman for prioritizing the safety of lives and property. Community members describe the initiatives as timely and effective, noting a significant improvement in security within the LCDA.
“Security is the foundation of meaningful development,” Kasali said in a recent statement. “Our people deserve to live in peace, and we are taking concrete steps to make Lekki LCDA safer for everyone.”
The chairman’s approach, combining institutional support with community-driven initiatives, has earned him praise as a model of responsive local governance.
With the local government elections approaching, supporters say Kasali’s record on security stands as one of his key achievements in office, reinforcing his message of continuity and trust.
