Operatives of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps (LNSC) have apprehended a man identified as Godwin, who allegedly posed as mentally unstable while in possession of 27 SIM cards.
In a statement released by the agency, Godwin, a native of Ughelli Local Government Area in Delta State, had been under surveillance for over a month following reports of suspicious activity from residents in the Epe area.
According to the LNSC, the suspect had been taking shelter in an abandoned security post near the T-junction in Epe. His behavior had raised concerns among locals, prompting the agency to initiate an investigation.
The LNSC has urged members of the public to stay alert and report any unusual activities or individuals in their communities.
