The political atmosphere in Ibeju-Lekki is set to intensify as the MFA Ambassadors, a political support group led by the Chief Whip of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mojeed Fatai Adebola, will formally unveil the APC flag-bearer for the upcoming Local Government Elections on Friday, June 27, 2025, at Jata Hotels and Suites, Ibeju-Lekki.
The announcement came during a courtesy visit by the MFA Ambassadors to the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, who was represented at the meeting by the Vice Chairman, Hon. Isiaka Yusuf Olatunji.
During the visit, the group presented branded souvenirs and expressed their continued commitment to the progress of the local government and the APC’s electoral success. Speaking to journalists, Rt. Hon. Mojeed Fatai Adebola described the upcoming unveiling ceremony as a “groundbreaking political event” and called on members of the public, party stakeholders, and residents to attend in solidarity.
“This is not just a declaration,” he said. “It’s a defining moment for the future of leadership in Ibeju-Lekki. We invite everyone to be part of this epoch-making event.”
In response, Hon. Isiaka Yusuf Olatunji conveyed the Executive Chairman’s appreciation, commending the group’s loyalty and acknowledging Rt. Hon. Adebola’s continued contributions to the political and developmental journey of the local government. He assured the delegation that their gesture and support would be valued and reciprocated by the current administration.
The unveiling ceremony is expected to draw top party figures, local stakeholders, youth groups, and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as the party moves to solidify its position ahead of the local government polls.
