The Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State, has released the schedule for the screening of applicants into its 12th Regular Course, set to commence on October 6, 2025.
According to the Registrar of the Academy, Barr. Dr. Ekpere Fidelis Ezeugwu, the exercise will include a Computer-Based Test (CBT), physical features screening, medical evaluation, and a selection board interview.
The screening, which will run in batches, has been structured according to applicants’ states of origin. Candidates from Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, and Bauchi (Batch A) States are scheduled for the first day on October 6, 2025, while other states will follow on successive days until October 15, 2025, when the process concludes with applicants from Yobe (Batch B) and Zamfara States.
To be admitted into the screening venue, candidates are required to present both original copies and photocopies of key documents including: Primary School Leaving Certificate, SSCE results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB), JAMB result slip, birth certificate or declaration of age, LGA indigene certificate, letter of identification, completed guarantor’s form, and a medical certificate of fitness issued by a government hospital. Other requirements include the National Identification Number (NIN) slip, four passport photographs, and the application acknowledgment slip printed from the academy’s admission portal.
The Academy emphasized that the approved dress code for the exercise is a white T-shirt on white shorts, with white socks and white canvas shoes.
Candidates were also cautioned against reporting for the exercise on dates not assigned to their states, as they would not be attended to. Additionally, applicants were advised to rely only on official communication channels of the Nigeria Police Academy to avoid falling victim to fake social media accounts impersonating the institution.
The management assured that the exercise will be transparent and urged candidates to adhere strictly to the instructions provided.
