Preparations are in top gear for the inaugural Indigenous Oil and Gas Investors Summit scheduled to take place on July 23–24, 2025, at Bickley Park Hotels Waterfront, Lekki, Lagos.
Organized by RedCarpet Protocol, the summit is being positioned as a landmark event aimed at deepening indigenous participation in Nigeria’s oil and gas sector. It seeks to promote strategic investment, innovation, and stronger collaboration among policymakers, regulators, and local industry players.
With the theme “Local Vision, Global Impact: The Future of Oil and Gas Investment in Nigeria,” the summit will spotlight the critical role indigenous investors and operators play in transforming the sector. It will also serve as a forum to align local efforts with global energy standards while advancing Nigeria’s competitiveness and sustainability within the global energy ecosystem.
In a statement, summit coordinator Winifred Odunze emphasized the summit’s goal of bridging the gap between investors and regulators through direct engagement. The platform will also highlight indigenous success stories, unlock new investment opportunities, and enhance regulatory transparency.
“This summit offers a unique opportunity to reshape the narrative of Nigeria’s energy future—led by Nigerians, for Nigerians—with a strong global outlook,” Odunze stated.
The event comes at a pivotal time when Nigeria is navigating complex energy challenges and opportunities, including the global energy transition, increasing demand for clean technologies, and a renewed push for local content development.
