The Nigeria Police Force has confirmed the participation of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, at the ongoing World Police Summit 2025 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Held under the theme “Beyond the Badge: Envision the Next Era of Policing,” the summit, taking place from May 13 to 16, brings together global security leaders to shape the future of law enforcement through dialogue, technology, and partnerships.
According to a press release signed by the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the IGP engaged in high-level discussions on cross-border intelligence sharing, joint operations, and training exchange programs. The aim is to strengthen Nigeria’s capabilities in combating cyber-enabled crimes and securing its borders in an increasingly digital world.
The summit also features exhibitions and panels on next-generation policing tools, crime prediction, forensics, and community engagement strategies—areas identified by the IGP as essential to modernizing Nigeria’s security framework.
The participation of the IGP underscores the Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to global best practices and international cooperation, reaffirming its resolve to elevate service delivery, professionalism, and public safety.
