The Onakoya 2027 Campaign Group has extended heartfelt appreciation to all those who contributed to the success of the Epe Medical Outreach, held at the Popo-Oba Recreational Centre in Epe, Lagos State.
In a statement signed by Dr. Abdulkareem Onakoya, a Labour Party aspirant for the Epe Federal Constituency seat in the 2027 general elections, the group acknowledged the large turnout of community members who participated in the outreach regardless of political affiliations.
Describing the initiative as “a tip of the iceberg,” Dr. Onakoya praised the residents for their enthusiastic support, which he said signals a growing demand for change and a renewed commitment to community wellbeing.
He also specially thanked Mr. Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour (GRV), the 2023 Labour Party gubernatorial candidate in Lagos State, for his solidarity and willingness to collaborate on the health-focused initiative.
“Our deepest gratitude goes to God Almighty who made today’s success possible. We are equally grateful to Mr. Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour for his unwavering support, and to the people of Epe who came out in their numbers to benefit from this free medical programme,” Dr. Onakoya said.
He reiterated the group’s commitment to delivering more community-centered projects in the lead-up to the 2027 elections and beyond, promising that the outreach is only the beginning of broader plans to improve the health and well-being of constituents.
The Epe Medical Outreach provided hundreds of residents with free health consultations, basic screenings, and medication, as part of a larger effort to bridge gaps in access to healthcare in underserved communities.
