The Kebbi State Police Command has recorded another major breakthrough in its sustained operations against violent crimes across the state.
On 3rd October 2025, at about 12:45hrs, credible intelligence revealed that a gang of suspected Lakurawa bandits had attacked Gorun Yamma village in Dandi Local Government Area. Acting swiftly on the report, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Kamba Division, SP Mohd Bello Lawal, immediately mobilized a joint team of police operatives and vigilantes to the scene.
The team engaged the bandits in a fierce gun battle which lasted for several hours.
