The PSC Chairman urged the recruits to contribute actively to ongoing national efforts to combat terrorism, curb banditry, and secure communities across the country. He further challenged them to strengthen public trust and rebuild citizens’ confidence in the Nigeria Police Force through integrity-driven service delivery.
Argungu emphasized that professionalism, discipline, and respect for the rights of citizens must remain the cornerstone of their operations, adding that no effective policing system can exist without fairness and accountability.
He also reiterated the Commission’s unwavering commitment to supporting the career growth and capacity development of police officers, noting that the institution is determined to build a modern police force that Nigerians can be proud of.
“Today marks the beginning of your noble career in service to your fatherland,” he said. “I urge you to serve with honour, courage, and patriotism. Your success will bring pride to your families, the Police Force, and our great nation.”
