Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, has officially presented the All Progressives Congress (APC) flag to Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, Chairman of Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), confirming him as the party’s flagbearer for the upcoming local government elections.
The flag presentation took place during a high-level Stakeholders’ Special Engagement at the State House, Marina. Hon. Akinloye was accompanied by his Vice Chairman, Hon. Lateef Adesanya, as both were reaffirmed by the party for a second term in office.
Governor Sanwo-Olu’s endorsement signals strong support from the state leadership and the APC for Hon. Akinloye’s continued stewardship in Eredo LCDA, a tenure widely noted for grassroots development, transparency in governance, and community empowerment initiatives.
Hon. Akinloye’s administration has received commendations for implementing sustainable development projects and fostering inclusive governance across the LCDA.
The flag presentation marks the formal beginning of the “Akinloye 2.0” campaign, with the APC positioning itself to retain leadership in Eredo LCDA through continuity and experience.
