Senator Muhammad Adamu Aleiro, representing Kebbi Central Senatorial District, has distributed a wide range of empowerment materials to residents of his constituency to promote self-reliance and economic growth.
The items distributed include 150 tricycles (Keke NAPEP), 114 motorcycles, 302 solar-powered deep freezers, 750 grinding machines, 500 solar water pumps, 800 sewing machines, and 3,400 bags of fertilizer.
Speaking at the distribution event in Aleiro Local Government Area, Senator Aleiro described the initiative as part of the dividends of democracy, noting that the empowerment efforts extend beyond his constituency to benefit the entire state.
He also highlighted ongoing constituency projects across eight local government areas, including road construction, healthcare, education, erosion control, and the establishment of skills acquisition centres.
The senator urged Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Nasiru Idris, to continue intervening in critical federal road projects, promising legislative support to ensure reimbursement by the federal government.
In his remarks, Governor Idris commended Senator Aleiro for his commitment to grassroots development. He assured that the state government supports all lawmakers in executing constituency projects and urged beneficiaries to use the materials productively rather than selling them.
