The administration of Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa has earned commendation from young residents of Ibeju-Lekki following the successful conclusion of a six-week self-development training workshop organized in collaboration with the United States Diplomatic Missions in Nigeria.
According to a statement released by Mr. Akadiri Ayorinde, Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, the intensive workshop—held at the American Corner in Lekki—was strategically designed to empower youths with essential life and professional skills to help them thrive in an increasingly competitive world.
Themed Self-Development Skills and Training, the initiative forms part of the local government’s broader commitment to youth empowerment and capacity building.
At the end of the program, participants were awarded official certificates by the American Corner. Several beneficiaries expressed deep appreciation to Hon. Olowa for his leadership and dedication to youth development. Many also pledged to serve as positive ambassadors of Ibeju-Lekki and put their newly acquired skills into meaningful use.
