The teacher who was seen in a viral video assaulting a three year old pupil has been arrested by the police and other law enforcement agents.
The private school teacher, Stella Nwadigo was arrested yesterday within the school premises for allegedly assaulting a three-year-old pupil, Michael Abayomi, in a school in the Ikorodu area of Lagos.
The video of the incident which occurred at Christ-Mitots School in Isawo area of Ikorodu was trailed by condemnation as the teacher was seen slapping the pupil severally for his inability to write some numbers very well.
In the video that lasted for few minutes, Michael was seen standing before the teacher who was continuously beating him for not being able to write numbers 16 and 62 effectively.
The teacher has since been answering questions about her unprofessional behaviour from the police and other concerned stakeholders.
