A staff of an Electricity Distribution Company has been electrocuted while on duty in Lagos.
The 42 yr old man was said to have got electrocuted while reconnecting and clearing some faulty electrical cables at Borno way in Ebute Metta area of Lagos.
His colleagues said that they tried to rescue him but could not make it.
Lagos police spokesman Mr Benjamin Hundeyin who confirmed the incident said that the man was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre in the area where he was confirmed dead by the Doctor on duty.
Mr. Hundeyin stated that the police had visited the scene and the hospital while the police would intensify further investigation.
He said the corpse has since been deposited at the hospital’s mortuary for autopsy.
