As part of the 2025 Children’s Day celebrations, the Police Campaign Against Cultism and Other Vices (POCACOV)—a key initiative of the Inspector General of Police—will host a special program dedicated to promoting the rights, dreams, and potential of Nigerian children.
Themed “For Every Child, Every Right,” the event is scheduled for Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the Police College, Oba Akinjobi Way, Ikeja, Lagos, starting at 10:00 a.m.
Designed to both entertain and educate, the day will feature a vibrant lineup of activities including speeches, debates, quizzes, games, and interactive sessions, all aimed at instilling core values such as peace, unity, and self-confidence in the young participants.
Attendance is free for invited schools, with the event specifically curated to provide a safe and inclusive platform for children to learn about their rights and express their talents.
POCACOV, through its Lagos State Chapter and with the support of the Inspector General of Police, remains committed to youth empowerment and crime prevention through community-driven initiatives like this, which focus on long-term nation-building.
