The Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Area, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, yesterday led a delegation of key stakeholders in the All Progressives Congress (APC) on a courtesy visit to the residence of the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Mineral and Energy Resources, Hon. Abiola Okanlawon Olowu.
The visit, which took place in Lagos, was to formally appreciate Hon. Olowu for his unwavering support to all APC candidates contesting in the upcoming local government elections.
Hon. Olowa was accompanied by the Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon. Mojeed Olayinka; Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Adewale Adebanjo; and the full slate of APC candidates for the council polls.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, Hon. Olowa extended heartfelt gratitude to the Special Adviser, noting that his contributions had significantly boosted the party’s readiness and confidence going into the elections. He also assured Hon. Olowu and party stakeholders of improved performance and impactful governance if the candidates are elected.
In response, Hon. Olowu commended Hon. Olowa for his achievements in office over the past four years, pledging continued support for his administration and the party’s vision at the grassroots level.
The visit underscored the strong internal support within the APC in Ibeju-Lekki as preparations for the LG polls intensify.
