“On behalf of the good people of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, I extend my warmest birthday greetings to His Royal Majesty, Oba Mufutau Adewunmi Idogun (Tunwase I),” the chairman said. “Kabiyesi has remained a source of stability and progress. His reign has been marked by humility, wisdom, and an unwavering commitment to the development of his people.”
Oba Idogun, popularly known as “Larry” before ascending the throne, is widely regarded as a unifying figure in Ibeju-Lekki. Since becoming Ologunfayo, he has played a prominent role in fostering peaceful coexistence and supporting community-based initiatives aimed at improving livelihoods.
Olowa expressed hopes for continued strength and divine guidance for the monarch in the years ahead, praying for “sound health, uncommon strength, and divine wisdom” as Oba Idogun continues to lead.
