As the countdown begins to the July 12 local government elections across Lagos State, the incumbent Chairman of Epe Local Government, Hon. Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun, has officially called on the people of Epe to come out in large numbers and vote to sustain the momentum of development under her leadership.
In a strong campaign message circulated ahead of the polls, Hon. Animashaun reaffirmed her commitment to “excellence, accountability, and results-driven governance,” while asking constituents to endorse her for a second term in office.
“The time is now. The call is clear,” she said, emphasizing the need for continuity and consolidation of the infrastructural and social progress made since assuming office.
Over the past three years, Hon. Animashaun’s administration has been credited with significant strides in healthcare, education, road rehabilitation, youth empowerment, and local economic initiatives — all of which have earned her commendation both within Epe and from the state government.
Supporters and civic leaders backing her re-election argue that she has proven to be a responsive and visionary leader. One of such supporters is Ambassador Kassim Yusuf Adegboyega (Leecrown) — a 2024 National Award-winning senior secondary school teacher — who publicly endorsed her candidacy, saying, “Leadership counts, and in Princess Surah, Epe has found a leader who listens, delivers, and leads with purpose.”
The campaign has adopted a clear message: vote for continuity, vote for tested leadership, and vote for a future anchored on results. Party supporters and community groups are mobilizing across the 11 wards of Epe to ensure a strong voter turnout.
With campaign slogans like “Epe Deserves the Best”, “Leadership with Results”, and “Re-elect Excellence,” the campaign is banking on the chairman’s track record to resonate with voters who seek stability and sustained development.
As the election day approaches, Hon. Animashaun is urging all eligible voters to head to their polling units on Saturday, July 12, 2025, and exercise their civic responsibility.
