The Chairman of the Conference League of Chairmen, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, alongside his colleagues, paid a courtesy visit to the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, in Lagos yesterday.
The visit, according to Hon. Olowa, reflects a collective commitment to strengthening grassroots governance across Lagos State. He noted that the discussions reinforced their belief that Nigeria is on the right trajectory under the bold and reform-driven leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whose economic and structural reforms are aimed at repositioning the nation for sustainable growth and prosperity.
In his remarks, Speaker Obasa, known for his consistent support for grassroots development, pledged unwavering backing for the third tier of government. He assured the visiting council chairmen of the Assembly’s commitment to consolidating policies that will deepen governance and service delivery at the local level.
