Epe Local Government has recorded another milestone in its ongoing urban renewal drive as the construction of Rahman Mistura Street reaches full completion of its concrete drainage systems on both sides of the road.
The project, being executed under the leadership of the Executive Chairman, Hon. (Princess) Surah O. Animashaun, FHTI, marks a critical step in improving water management, road durability, and flood prevention in the community.
With the drainage phase now completed, work is set to progress to the grading and leveling stage, paving the way for final surfacing and completion of the road.
Hon. Animashaun commended the contractors for maintaining quality standards and expressed appreciation to residents for their patience and cooperation throughout the construction period.
She reaffirmed her administration’s commitment to delivering sustainable infrastructure that promotes accessibility, safety, and aesthetics across the local government area.
“Our goal is to ensure that every road project in Epe meets the highest standard of quality and durability,” she stated. “We are building roads that serve today’s needs and safeguard tomorrow’s development.”
The Executive Chairman noted that Rahman Mistura Street is one of several ongoing infrastructure projects designed to enhance mobility and stimulate economic growth in the area.
