Nigeria Police Academy Set for First-Ever Convocation, Course Night, and Passing Out Parade

The Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC), Wudil, Kano State, has announced plans to host its first-ever Convocation Ceremony for Regular Courses 1 to 7, alongside the Course Night and Passing Out Parade for Regular Course 7.

According to a statement from the Academy, the events are being organized under the leadership of the 24th Commandant, AIG Patrick A. Atayero and will hold between Thursday, 20th, and Saturday, 22nd November 2025, at the Academy’s premises in Wudil, Kano State.

The statement noted that the historic milestone is taking place under the visionary leadership of the 22nd Indigenous Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun whose commitment to police reform, excellence in training, and improved officer welfare continues to shape the future of the Nigeria Police Force.

The Academy described the upcoming ceremonies as a celebration of academic achievement, character, and disciplined training, signifying the growth and transformation of cadets into professional police officers ready to serve the nation.

The Commandant extended an open invitation to families, stakeholders, and members of the public to attend and witness what he described as a defining moment in the history of the institution.
