Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA Chairman Revalidates APC Membership, Supports Ward Exercise with Logistics and Equipment

The Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, has revalidated his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the party’s nationwide membership e-registration and revalidation exercise commenced across the LCDA.
Akogun Anomo carried out his revalidation at the Ward R1 APC Registration Centre in Itoikin community, in what party leaders described as a demonstration of leadership by example and a reaffirmation of his commitment to the growth and consolidation of the party at the grassroots level.
Following the exercise, the council chairman embarked on a tour of the remaining five political wards in the LCDA to assess the conduct of the registration process. During the tour, he encouraged party members and residents to participate actively in the exercise, stressing the importance of membership in shaping the future of the party and benefiting from its programmes.
Earlier, the chairman, represented by the Vice Chairman, Alhaji Wasiu Dehinsilu, provided institutional support for the exercise by donating generators to all six wards to ensure uninterrupted registration. The administration also supplied logistics to registration officers and created a conducive environment through the provision of tents, chairs, and other essential materials.
In addition, awareness of the exercise was amplified through special announcements on radio stations and across social media platforms to encourage mass participation.
Speaking at the Ward G1 APC Registration Centre in Orugbo, the APC Chairman in Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Government, Hon. Wittu Ajenifuja, expressed appreciation to the Executive Chairman for his support, describing it as critical to the success of the exercise. He commended Akogun Anomo’s commitment to the party and his efforts at strengthening the APC’s presence in the LCDA.
The APC revalidation exercise continues across all wards in Ikosi-Ejinrin, with party leaders urging eligible residents to take advantage of the opportunity to register and contribute to building a stronger and more inclusive party structure at the grassroots.
